Snow Capped Peaks of the Ruby Mountains

Snow Capped Peaks of the Ruby Mountains

The Ruby Mountains, due to their lofty height, usually get quite a bit of snow during the winter. And during snowier than usual winters, the snow can really pile up. And even the bright sun of a Nevada May will be slow to melt it all away. This photo was taken on the Secret Pass Scenic Drive (Highway 229).
