Photographs of the Mt. Wilson Backcountry Byway

The Mt. Wilson Backcounty Byway Scenic Drive is located in eastern Nevada. This beautiful and very remote 81 mile scenic drive follows a dirt road through the heart of the seldom visited Wilson Creek Range. The drive also passes through the scenic Lake Valley, Spring Valley State Park and skirts the popular Echo Lake State Park. The drive begins in the small town of Pioche and ends at US Highway 93 at the Pony Springs Rest Area, twenty-nine miles north of Pioche.
