Snowy Flanks of the Humboldt Mountains

Snowy Flanks of the Humboldt Mountains

The Humboldt Mountains get quite a bit of snow due to their towering height. The winds, however, can also be quite fierce during the winter. And due to the lack of foliage in much of the mountains, the snow tends to blow around and form big, deep drifts in sun and wind-sheltered areas.
