Photographs of Wells, Nevada

Wells is located in Northeast Nevada, right on Interstate 80. The freeway is quite busy - few people ever bother to see the historic part of town or the area around it (although many hop off the Interstate to take advantage of the TWO truck stops here).

Wells, in my opinion, has a beautiful location as it's located right at the base of the Humboldt Mountains. Additionally, manys scenic drives in Nevada begin near here, including the Angel Lake Scenic Drive and the Clover Valley Scenic Drive.

It should be noted that a earthquake in February of 2008 caused significant damage to the historic part of town.
