The Lake Tahoe Scenic Drive, located in western Nevada and eastern California, is a paved 68 mile route that circles beautiful Lake Tahoe. The route follows several state and federal highways, and passes through Tahoe City, South Lake Tahoe, Incline Village and several other small towns. Although traffic can be heavy at times, anyone in the general area of Lake Tahoe - such as passing through Truckee on Interstate 80 - absolutely should make time to take this beautiful paved drive.
