Yosemite National Park Photographs

Yeah…Yosemite National Park is in California…so what? A huge chunk of Yosemite National Park basically sits right on the border with Nevada. And since it is very easy to get to from Reno/Carson City…well…let’s just say I made the “command decision” to include photographs about Yosemite National Park in a site about Nevada. After all…the Sierras are partially in Nevada. And as Yosemite is located in the Sierras…well…there you go.

Yosemite National Park…for the few souls who have never heard of it before…is one of the premiere National Parks in the USA. And I do mean PREMIERE. Yes…it can be horribly crowded during the summer season, due to both the parks proximity to major cities in California as well as the wonderful sights the park offers.

Truthfully…I had no idea what to expect in Yosemite the first time I visited. I was expecting to be disappointed due to “being spoiled” after living so close to Glacier National Park in Montana. Boy…was I wrong. Yosemite is wonderful…with superb views….towering rock formations…healthy and endless forests. And, well…what is there to say about Yosemite Valley? It’s beautiful!

I don’t have too many photographs of Yosemite National Park yet. But more will be coming someday. So until then…enjoy the galleries of Yosemite that I currently do have.
