Ruby Valley, Ruby Mountains & Ruby Marsh Photographs

The Town of Ruby Valley, Nevada
The metropolis of Ruby Valley. Number of full-time, year-round residents according to a Wildlife Refuge official I talked too…1. Yes…one person lives here year-round. It’s a beautiful place to live, no doubt. But sorry…the town itself is rather ugly! And if you are looking for “services” here…well…forget it. They don’t exist. Nearest “services” are over in the Lamoille Valley or up in Wells…neither of which are close.

About this Photo Gallery

This gallery showcases the Ruby Mountains, particularly the higher peaks found towards the southern end. Additionally, you’ll see photographs of Ruby Marsh itself, which is part of the Ruby Marsh National Wildlife Refuge. The Ruby Valley itself is absolutely gorgeous…and rarely visited. The valley is massive…easily over 60 miles in length and about 20 miles in width. And don’t expect to find anything here either besides nature….as the one town…Ruby Valley…has exactly one year-round resident and no services.
