Nevada Historical Site Photographs

Steam Engine of the Nevada Northern RailwayNevada is full of historical places. Unlike many places out West, parts of Nevada were settled relatively quickly due to the mining boom in the state. As such, Nevada is sprinkled with all sorts of old, historic towns and the ruins of many more. The photographs in this gallery as such showcase both current historic towns as well as the ruins of towns long since forgotten about.

In additon to photographs of ghost towns and current historical towns, the photos in these galleries also showcase other historical things in Nevada. In particular, you’ll find photographs of several still “functioning” historical things in Nevada, such as the Northern Nevada Railway that is located in Ely.
