About the New York New York Hotel & Casino

The New York New York Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas is one of the most striking casinos in Las Vegas, at least to me. The replica of the New York City skyline sits dramatically on the corner of Tropicana Boulevard and Las Vegas Boulevard. The outside of the casino is simply wonderful, with the entire hotel complex being a mixture of a mini-New York skyline.

And the inside of the New York New York is equally as nice. This particular casino tends to draw a younger crowd than what is found further up the Strip at places like the Bellagio, the Venetian and the Flamingo…probably one reason I like it.

For a photographer, the New York New York is probably second only in photographic opportunities to the Bellagio (the Fountains of the Bellagio are TOUGH to beat if you love to take pictures!).
