About the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino

The MGM Grand is, at least as of this moment, the largest hotel in Las Vegas. Rumor has it that some of the newer resorts coming online may be larger…but…the MGM Grand is also expanding itself. So…who knows…MGM Grand may continue to hold the title of the largest hotel in Las Vegas.

In any event, the MGM Grand is a darn nice place inside and out. The place is also massive as well…it takes seemingly forever to walk through the main gaming floor.

One very nice thing I like about the MGM Grand is that the Las Vegas Monorail stops (actually ends) at the MGM Grand. As such, if you want to travel around the strip…and the Monorail is a wonderful way to do this…then staying at the MGM Grand simply makes sense.

Now, the place is anything about “cheap” in terms of cost. But well…this is Las Vegas…on the Strip…so what did you expect?

Another nice thing about the MGM Grand is it’s location. Directly across the street is the New York New York…still one of my favorite places in Las Vegas. And kitty corner is the ExCalibur…where you can hop on the free tram that takes you down to the beautiful Mandalay Bay. In other words…the MGM Grand has a wonderful location.
