About Lamoille Canyon

Lamoille Canyon is a gorgeous canyon located to southeast of Elko. The canyon itself is within the Ruby Mountains, and as such, the mountains dominate the skyline and make for some beautiful sights.

Lamoille Canyon itself is very easy to get into…as the Lamoille Canyon Road and National Scenic Byway cuts up right through the middle of it. The road ends high up in the mountains, and serves as the perfect trailhead for many gorgeous hikes up in the Ruby Mountains.
