Nevada Backcountry & Scenic Drives

Nevada is full I tell you…full…of backcountry and scenic drives. Sadly…for better or for worse…few of them are actually “designated” or, for that matter, easy to reach. Indeed…despite my own wanderlust, I have yet to reach all of them.

Still, I’ve reached quite a few of them, and have the photographs to prove it. With the result being these galleries that showcase some of the backcountry and scenic drives that you’ll find in Nevada (in the Sierras too). Now, by and large, I’ve stuck with drives that have “official designation” as a backcountry and/or scenic drive. But I won’t wed myself to this all the time. If I like a special road in particular, I will also list it here…and to heck with how the State of Nevada or the Federal Government classifies a road!
