The downtown area of Boulder City is a popular place, as US 93 crosses through town and is the primary link between Nevada and Arizona. Most likely, traffic will only increase with the opening of the new bridge that bypasses the long, twisty slog across Hoover Dam, too.
If you're visiting Boulder City and are looking to hit the poker room or slot machines, well...sorry, you're out of luck! Boulder City is the one and only city in the entire State of Nevada that prohibits gambling!
