Las Vegas Outdoor Recreation Books

Most visitors to Las Vegas who fly iin and see little of the area think of Las Vegas as lying in essentially "death valley light" - or basically a barren, desolate, hot and arid landscape. And to some extent, this is true - Las Vegas is in the desert and vegetation is sparse just outside of the city.

Yet, not more than a 20 minute drive away the Charleston Mountains rise up off the desert floor. This mountain range provides awesome hiking, camping, biking and climbing possibilities - not to mention serving as a nice reprieve from the desert heat.

In other words, Las Vegas has quite a bit of outdoor recreation outside its back door. The books shown on this page will help you find it.

All of these books are available through Amazon.Com.
