The Golden Gate Casino on Fremont Street

The Golden Gate Casino will not soon be posing as challenging competition to the Bellagio or some of the newer fancy resorts in Las Vegas. In fact, the Golden Gate Casino is probably the least inexpensive hotel in town…unless the weekend is really busy, you likely can pick up a room for less than $40. Now, the rooms are nothing special (I stayed there for a few days), but the location is nice, if somewhat loud due to the light show blaring overhead. The gaming floor of the Golden Gate Casino is rather nice, too…or, perhaps I should say…it’s “distinctive.”
